I finally got around to documenting the ScanStation, a nice dedicated facility for the ID-Studiolab that enables users to quickly scan images, photograph physical models and make simple digital videos. The ScanStation is selfdocumented - any non-initiated user can work with it.
The ScanStation is build on a Mac - MacOSX 10.4 (I'm thinking about a 10.5 version) and uses only the standard simple automation tools Apple provides in MacOSX: Automator, AppleScript and iCal actions.
