"Design and Emotion" Society
The society is founded in 1999 and its major goal is to contribute to and stimulate experience/emotion driven product design. To achieve this goal, the society has established a platform for researchers, designers, and the industry, where they can exchange their activities, developments and insights. Activities of the society include:
- conferences: after Delft (1999), Potsdam (2000), and Loughborough (2002), the next will take place in Ankara, Turkey. Check the conference website for up to date information and a call for papers (deadline: November 16!).

This design office is in many ways related to our research group. Have a look and find out how (and that) ViP works in the 'real world'.
EAD
The European Academy of Design tries to unite European designers and design researchers from all disciplines at their bi-anual conferences. These tend to be at the best locations of Europe. Next one in 2003 ....
IAEA
The International Association of Empirical Aesthetics is the floor for all aesthetic researchers. Join the association and make sure you will be in Lisbon next year.
